St. Paul, MN - This evening, Governor Walz delivered his State of the State Address from his former social studies classroom at Mankato West High School. Video of the address is available on the Governor’s YouTube page.
State Representative Dan Wolgamott (DFL - St. Cloud) released the following statement on the Governor’s speech:
“As a fellow high school football coach, I appreciated Governor Walz sharing his championship experience of how a team can band together, overcome tough times, and support each other to victory. We are fortunate the Governor has the champion’s perspective needed to rally Minnesotans and lead us to victory in the battle against the pandemic.
“I thank Governor Walz for calling the tough plays that have saved lives, and I look forward to continuing to work with him as we see our state through this pandemic. With all of us working together as a team, Minnesota will not only recover, but thrive.”
