Legislative Update - Back to St. Paul

Monday, February 10, 2020

Rep. Wolgamott

Dear Granite City Neighbors,

Today is the last day of the legislative interim, and I’m spending it preparing for my return to policy making at the State Capitol. I couldn’t be more excited to get back to crafting legislation for our community, and I want to thank all the residents of our district for coming out to my legislative events these past few months, especially last week’s Northstar Town Hall! My work in the Minnesota House is at its best when it’s open, transparent, and responsive to your needs, and I’m extremely proud of the work we were able to accomplish together to build momentum on the issues impacting St. Cloud and the surrounding communities.

We’ve covered affordable drug prices, clean energy, elder care, and ways to make our city and state more welcoming and inclusive. Democracy doesn’t work without people standing up for what they care for, and I’m honored to be bringing your stories and experiences back with me to St. Paul.

With the 2020 Legislative Session starting tomorrow, February 11, I still want to continue to hear from you, even though I’ll be splitting my time between St. Cloud and St. Paul for the next few months. Please consider taking a moment to fill out this brief survey on policy issues we’ll be tackling in the Minnesota Legislature this year. If there’s a question you’d like to answer more in-depth, or a policy issue you’d like to discuss, please feel free to reach out to me or my office.

I’m best reached at rep.dan.wolgamott@house.mn or (651) 296-6612. You’ll either get me or our fantastic Legislative Assistant, Tara. You can also keep up-to-date with what’s going on by ‘liking’ my Official Facebook Page, or subscribing to these legislative updates. Thank you again for the honor of representing you in the Minnesota House of Representatives.

Go Huskies!
