Dear Neighbors,
Due to COVID-19, the Minnesota House is operating almost exclusively remotely, relying on technology to hold floor sessions and committee hearings to keep legislators, staff, and the public safe. The in-person community meetings I enjoy having across the district are unfortunately also impractical right now. However, it’s still important for me to connect with people in the Iron Range communities I have the honor to represent.
To that end, you’re invited to join me on Saturday, February 13 at 10 a.m. for a Virtual Town Hall & Community Conversation. We will gather to answer your questions about the legislative session and address issues important to the region on my Facebook page using Facebook Live streaming video.
This is a challenging time for everybody, and our region is home to folks with diverse viewpoints about many complex issues we’re working through at the Capitol. Everyone in the district is welcome to join us for this nonpartisan event. I encourage you to submit questions ahead of time here.
