You’re Invited: Virtual Town Hall Meeting Saturday

Wednesday, January 19, 2022

Dear Neighbors,

The 2022 Legislative Session is set to begin on January 31. With the COVID-19 pandemic remaining with us, and the Omicron variant surging, we’re still navigating a period of uncertainty regarding our public health, educational opportunity, and economic security. The past two years have been exhausting, and many in our community are still struggling. Still, Minnesotans are resilient, and there are plenty of reasons to be hopeful for the future. Here’s a column that I recently wrote for the Duluth News Tribune outlining my priorities for the coming session and my expectations about how we can help build a state that works better for everyone.

Virtual Town Hall Jan 22

In advance of the session, Rep. Jen Schultz, Sen. Jen McEwen, and I invite you to attend a Virtual Town Hall Meeting this Saturday, January 22 at 10:30 a.m. on Zoom. In addition to discussing our goals for the year and previewing what to expect at the Capitol, we look forward to answering your questions. Click here to register to attend and share questions you’d like us to address. We all deeply value engagement from the community and look forward to this opportunity to connect.

If you’re unable to attend, as always, I invite you to reach out to me directly with your ideas, input, and feedback. It’s an honor to represent you.

Sincerely,

Liz Olson
State Representative
