Neighbors,
Earlier this week, a Judge ruled that Northern Metals, which has caused pollution in our community for years, may continue operation in North Minneapolis beyond the date it had agreed to close (which was supposed to be today).
The outcome of this decision will allow Northern Metals to continue putting Minneapolis residents' health at risk, but I will keep fighting for the environmental wellness of North Minneapolis by improving air and water quality.
Along with several colleagues, I have sent the following letter to the Judge regarding his decision with the August 1 deadline.
