RELEASE: Haley Takes Oath of Office

ST. PAUL, MN – Rep. Barb Haley (R-Red Wing) took the oath of office as she was sworn-in to her second term in the Minnesota House of Representatives on Tuesday, January 8, during a swearing in ceremony at the Capitol.

Today reminded me of the amazing privilege that serving our area in the legislature affords,” said Haley. “Thank you to everyone who has placed their trust in me to continue representing our communities in St. Paul.

On Monday, Haley also attended the swearing-in ceremony for new DFL Governor Tim Walz and Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan.

I look forward to working with Governor Walz, Lt. Governor Flanagan, and their administration in the session ahead,” Haley continued. “I remain committed to advocating for our district’s shared priorities, and will look to find common ground and work with the Governor and Lt. Governor on a number of issues that we face.

Haley was elected to her second term in November to represent District 21A, which encompasses portions of Goodhue and Wabasha counties. Haley will serve on the Jobs and Economic Development Finance Division, Commerce Committee, Health and Human Services Finance Division, and Water Division.
