Dear Neighbors,
We had another busy week in St. Paul, and wanted to send along a couple notes of what I’ve been working on. First, I wanted to thank all who came to South St. Paul Day at the Capitol on Saturday; it was great seeing so many of you!
First Bill Hearing
On Monday, I presented my bill, HF270, in the Veterans Affairs Division. You probably remember, but this bill provides a tax credit for businesses who hire military veterans. I’m thankful the bill was well-received from members of both parties. It’s now headed to the Taxes Committee, and I’ll keep you updated from there.
Ending Domestic Violence
Earlier this week, I joined fellow lawmakers and representatives from Minnesota Coalition of Battered Women to raise awareness about domestic violence, and talk about what steps we can take to end it in the future. This is a very important topic for our area – and our state – and something I’ll continue to work on at the Capitol.

Please Contact Me
Once again, I had some great meetings with residents of our area. The Capitol is only a few minutes from our district, and I’d encourage you to stop by if you get a chance; I’d love to hear what’s on your mind.
Have a great weekend,
Keith
