INTERNATIONAL FALLS, Minn. – On Friday morning, Bob Anderson, Mayor of International Falls, passed away. State Representative Rob Ecklund (DFL – International Falls) issued the following statement:
“I’m deeply saddened by the death of Mayor Anderson. Bob’s track record of public service spanned several generations, and he was a consistent, effective advocate for International Falls. Even as times changed, he was tirelessly working to create new opportunities for the people of northern Minnesota and strengthen our way of life. I greatly enjoyed partnering with him as we worked together to deliver local priorities at the State Capitol. He will be missed by many, and my thoughts are with his family in this difficult time.”
