Hello Northlanders,
We are now debating the very large budget bills and spending long hours on the House Floor. I understand that too many Minnesotans are working hard without getting ahead. That is why I am pushing for better investments that would help more Minnesotans including the working family credit, local government aid, county program aid, and township aid.
In between long floor sessions I have been able to meet with many different groups from our area. I spoke with the Wood Fiber Council about some of their priorities.
I was also happy to meet with some constituents from AFSCME Council 5.
Lake County Commissioner Rich Sve and Lake County Administrator Matt Huddelson also came down talk about the important functions that Minnesota counties serve. I am happy to partner with them so they continue their great work.
