ST. PAUL – Representative Nels Pierson (R-Rochester) supports the Public Safety Plan revealed by House Republicans on Tuesday. The packaged focused on crime prevention and accountability for criminals, police recruitment and retention, and holding the criminal justice system accountable.
“Our communities are not safe thanks to policies that reward criminals and reject policing,” Pierson said. “Minnesota is in need of efforts to strengthen our police forces and hold criminals accountable.”
