SAINT PAUL, MN – House Minority Leader Kurt Daudt, R-Crown, appointed Rep. Nels Pierson, R-Rochester, to the Legislative Audit Commission on Wednesday. Pierson is one of six House members that will serve on the bipartisan commission.
“The Legislative Auditor is an important tool for Minnesotans and the legislature to ensure government is running efficiently,” said Rep. Pierson. “I am honored to serve on this commission and I look forward to working with my colleagues to hold state government accountable for taxpayer dollars.”
The Legislative Audit Commission “appoints the Legislative Auditor and selects topics for the Program Evaluation Division to review.”
