ST. PAUL, MN— On Tuesday, Representative Nels Pierson, R-Rochester, was appointed to the Legislative Audit Commission. Rep. Pierson is one of six appointees from the House of Representatives to the bipartisan commission.
“The Legislative Auditor is an important tool for citizens and the legislature to ensure our state agencies and programs are functioning as Minnesotans expect,” said Pierson. “I’m honored by this appointment and look forward to holding state government accountable for taxpayer dollars.”
