SAINT PAUL, MN—Representative Nels Pierson, R-Rochester, was officially sworn-in for his second term Tuesday as the legislature began the 2017 session in St. Paul. Pierson will continue to represent District 26B which includes a large portion of Olmsted County.
“Families in our area want a legislature that works for them, and I’m eager to get back to work to advocate for what’s important to residents of 26B,” said Pierson.
Pierson, who was re-elected to his second term this past November, will serve on the Agriculture Finance, Agriculture Policy, Capital Investment, and Health and Human Services Finance Committees.
Pierson lives in Rochester with his wife, Nicole. They have three children. Pierson is a real estate professional and has been involved in numerous community, business, church, and other organizations over his career.
