ST. PAUL, Minn. – State Rep. Eric Lucero, R-St. Michael, is among a group of lawmakers seeking to create a vaccine recipient bill of rights in Minnesota.

“After receiving thousands of communications over the last several years from good people negatively impacted by abusive COVID-19 government mandates, it has become crystal clear the establishment of a vaccine recipient bill of rights is desperately needed to protect innocent people against coercion and discrimination,” Lucero said. “As one of the champions in the MN Legislature fighting for medical freedom and informed consent, I'm committed to transparency, accountability, and protecting the rights of Minnesotans.”

Lucero was among a group of legislators, joined by numerous Minnesotans from across the state, who attended a press conference Wednesday at the Capitol to give their personal testimonies of vaccine coercion and injuries resulting from receiving COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters. Among the bills highlighted at the press conference was HF 2348.

“HF 2348 is a resolution seeking the creation of a vaccine recipient bill of rights to defend the constitutional liberties of citizens, promote sound science, and outline a framework of best practices for state authorities and federal regulators to develop regarding vaccine administration and implementation.” Lucero said. “A one-size-fits-all approach is abusive and we must uphold the truth individuals are empowered to make the best medical decisions for themselves and their families rather than government or employers via threats of loss of employment or other discrimination.”
