ST. PAUL, MN — Rep. Jon Koznick (R-Lakeville) issued the following statement today regarding President Donald Trump’s visit to Burnsville:
“I extend my thanks and appreciation to President Trump for taking the time to visit Minnesota Monday to learn more about how the 2017 federal tax bill is impacting Minnesota businesses, families, and our economy,” said Rep. Koznick. “It is a tremendous honor anytime a sitting President visits your state and it is especially exciting that he is visiting the South Metro to learn more about the lives of folks that live in our communities.”
President Trump visited the Twin Cities on Monday to tout his 2017 tax cut bill.
Koznick added, “The strength of the trucking and transportation system is indicative of the health of the broader economy. The President highlighting a local truck company was a fantastic way to illustrate how the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act has helped real people and is helping keep our national economy growing.”
