SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Tonight, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz delivered his 2020 State of the State address. Due to his “Stay at Home” order as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, he delivered the message via video from the Governor’s Residence.
Rep. Jack Considine (DFL – Mankato) issued the following statement:
“We should all be grateful to have the measured, steady, and thoughtful leadership of Governor Tim Walz right now. None of us have ever had to experience anything like this crisis, and the Governor has demonstrated an ability to help Minnesotans navigate the challenges we are all facing and protect our public health. There is more work yet to do, especially to protect our first responders and health care workers, and strengthen economic security for many Minnesotans, which is right now in jeopardy. With the Governor’s leadership, bipartisan commitment from legislators, and continued resilience from Minnesotans, once we move beyond this pandemic, I’m hopeful the State of our State will continue to be strong.”
