Tuesday, March 17, 2020

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Early this morning, the Minnesota House of Representatives unanimously passed emergency COVID-19 health care funding, which provides $200 million in investments for a health care response fund and Minnesota’s public health response contingency account. State Rep. Jack Considine (DFL – Mankato) released the following statement:

“The near future is going to be full of uncertainty and challenges for Minnesotans, but we’re all lucky we have such dedicated, quality health care professionals in our state. The investments we have made in our COVID-19 response will help make sure our health care providers can provide the care Minnesotans impacted by COVID-19 will depend on. We will keep working to protect the health and safety of Minnesotans and solutions to lessen the economic impact they are experiencing as a result of the crisis.”
