Dear Neighbors,
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday full of quality time spent with family and friends, while reflecting on the things for which we are grateful. On a personal note, I would be remiss if I didn’t share my gratitude to the citizens of Mankato and Eagle Lake for the opportunity to serve another two years in the Minnesota House of Representatives.
The 2017 legislative session convenes on January 3rd. While the landscape in St. Paul may be a bit different this coming year, I remain committed to passing a responsible state budget and enacting policies which give all Minnesotans a chance to succeed. Ahead of this, other legislators from the region and I want to start gathering ideas and viewpoints from members of the community as we look to best accomplish this.
I, along with Rep. Clark Johnson and Sen.-elect Nick Frentz, invite you to a Town Hall Meeting this coming Saturdaymorning at 9:00 a.m. at Mankato City Hall. Please bring your questions and comments; I look forward to seeing you there.
