I just wanted to send along a quick note to wish you a happy Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for here in our great state, and I hope you're able to spend some time giving thanks with your loved ones.
Our local Salvation Army is putting on a Thanksgiving meal on Thursday from 5-7PM at the Fairlane Building at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds. Thanks to all who donated and volunteered to make this event possible. The Albert Lea Girls Swim team took third place in the Class A state finals earlier this week up at the University of Minnesota. Lindsey Horesji set a new national record, and set four new Class A state records overall. We're so proud of all these amazing student athletes have accomplished this season. Way to go Tigers!
