WILLMAR, MN—Assistant Majority Leader Rep. Dave Baker, R-Willmar, and Sen. Lyle Koenen, DFL-Clara City, have announced a joint town hall meeting that will take place Saturday, June 20 from 10-11:30AM at the Kandiyohi County Health and Human Services Building Auditorium at 2200 23rd Street NE in Willmar. Attendees are encouraged to park on the west side of the building.
Baker said he was looking forward to sharing the accomplishments of the 2015 session with constituents, as well as a look ahead to the 2016 session.
"I'm incredibly proud of the bipartisan work done in the areas of education, avian flu, and mental health this session," Baker said. "I'm excited to share with folks the accomplishments from this session, and hear what people would like us to be focusing on as we look ahead to 2016. I know the top of my list includes transportation and tax relief, and I hope people will come with their ideas and feedback on how to address those topics, and what other issues they'd like to see progress on in 2016."
The event is open to the public and free to attend.
