Dear Neighbors,
Last week, the House debated and passed three supplemental omnibus bills. Included in these three bills were a number of provisions that will benefit Greater Minnesota
Included in the three supplemental omnibus bills were provisions that:
- Re-open the Appleton Prison
- Improve reimbursement rates for rural ambulance services
- Make historic investments in broadband internet expansion
- Fund the Lewis and Clark Regional Water System
- Increase the accessibility of child care
- Limit MNsure’s ability to place liens on the properties of Medicaid recipients and bring more transparency to MNsure
- Provide more equitable school funding between metro and non-metro school districts
With the passage of these three bills, the House has again affirmed its support of finding solutions that address the challenges facing communities in Greater Minnesota.
