This weekend, we are celebrating two wonderful holidays. I would like to wish you and yours a Happy Flag Day on Saturday and a Happy Father’s Day on Sunday!
Flag Day
On June 14, 1777, Congress designated the stars and stripes as our official flag, and today we celebrate Flag Day as a way to remember that historic event.
The American flag represents freedom, liberty and justice. When we pledge allegiance to our flag, we are really celebrating our shared American values and what our flag symbolizes.
Having recently observed both Memorial Day and the anniversary of D-Day, it’s important to remember all of the men and women who fought and died under the flag—defending our freedoms and way of life.

Father’s Day
My husband, Greg and I have been blessed with three beautiful children and a grandchild. I look forward to celebrating all of the fathers in my family on Sunday, and I hope you have a wonderful day with your family as well.
