THEIS SWORN IN, NAMED GOP HOUSING LEAD
ST. PAUL – Representative Tama Theis, R-St. Cloud, was sworn in Tuesday for her fifth term as the State Representative for House District 14A. Theis, a small business owner, was first elected in 2013, and lives in St. Cloud with her husband, Greg.
“It is truly an honor to represent the people of St. Cloud and the surrounding communities,” said Theis. “I look forward to getting to work for the people of Stearns County. I am elected to represent the needs and priorities of our area, and I’d love to hear from constituents about what is most important to them. Our community is a wonderful place to work and live, and I welcome the opportunity to make it even better through my work at the Capitol.”
Theis was named to three House committees: Commerce Finance and Policy, Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy, and Housing Finance and Policy. She will serve as the Republican Lead member on the Housing Finance and Policy committee.
