Here’s the latest news from the Capitol:
Budget negotiations are ongoing. Democrats have so far refused to compromise on tax increases, continuing to pursue over $12 billion in unnecessary tax increases. Our budget surplus is over $1 billion, and Republicans proved in the last biennium that we can fund our obligations without raising taxes. I refuse to raise taxes on hardworking Minnesotans when there is no logical reason for it.
