St. Cloud, MINN – Representative Tama Theis, R-St. Cloud, Representative Jim Knoblach, R-St. Cloud, and members of the House Capital Investment Committee toured three locations in the community on Tuesday, August 15—the Waite Park Amphitheater, the St. Cloud Armory, and St. Cloud Technical and Community College. Invited by Reps. Theis and Knoblach, the committee visited these locations to learn more about proposed bonding projects and their impact on Central Minnesota.
“I am pleased that the House Capital Investment Committee came to St. Cloud and Waite Park to take a closer look at these important local bonding projects, and I hope they will consider them as we go into the next legislative session,” said Rep. Theis. “The folks who showed us around each location did a great job of sharing how critical these projects are, and I think members of the committee were very receptive to the positive impact bonding dollars would have in our area.”
"I am pleased the Capital Investment Committee came to St. Cloud to look at projects for our area," Rep. Knoblach said. "The information members gathered during this visit will be helpful in preparing for the next legislative session."
