ST. PAUL, MN – Nick Zerwas (R-Elk River) took the oath of office in the Minnesota House of Representatives Tuesday, January 3, 2017 during the swearing-in ceremony at the Capitol.
Zerwas was elected to his third term in November to represent District 30A, which encompasses Big Lake, Big Lake Township, Elk River and portions of Otsego. Zerwas is serving on the Health & Human Services Finance, Higher Education & Career Readiness Policy and Finance, and Public Safety & Security Policy and Finance committees.
“It is great to be back at the Capitol,” said Zerwas. “I am looking forward to this session and getting back to work for our community.”
Zerwas lives in Elk River with his family and works as a consultant.
