SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Tonight, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz delivered his 2020 State of the State address. Due to his “Stay at Home” order as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, he delivered the message via video from the Governor’s Residence.
Rep. Mike Sundin (DFL – Esko) issued the following statement:
“I’m extremely grateful for the leadership Governor Walz has displayed during the course of this pandemic. His difficult, but thoughtful actions have recognized the seriousness of this public health emergency. He’s recognized the deep sacrifices many Minnesotans have made and continue to make, including the frontline health care workers, first responders, educators, and those who are going through tough economic times because they’ve lost their job or because their business is closed. There’s more work left for all of us to do, but I’m confident that with Governor Walz’s continued leadership, Minnesotans – who are resilient at their core – will pull together and help us move past this crisis.”
