ST. PAUL, MN – On Wednesday, Rep. Jason Metsa (DFL – Virginia) will join members of the Minnesota House of Representatives Capital Investment Committee at several communities in northern Minnesota as part of a statewide tour to listen to presentations on projects for possible consideration in the 2014 bonding bill.
Rep. Metsa helped kick off one of the first of multiple bonding tour events in northern Minnesota earlier today at an event at the Northeast Regional Correctional Center in Saginaw.
“I’m thankful for the opportunity to educate my colleagues on the Capital Investment Committee about the positive impact these projects will have on our communities,” said Rep. Metsa. “Passing a comprehensive bonding bill that puts people back to work is one of my top priorities for the 2014 legislative session. If you haven’t already done so, I encourage you to submit your bonding request to my office as soon as possible, or call me at my home at (218) 741-5692.”
Members of the press are encouraged to attend each event to receive more information about the local economic impact of the bonding projects.
