St. Paul, Minn. – Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton tonight delivered his 2016 State of the State Address to both bodies of the Legislature at the University of Minnesota. State Rep. Ben Lien (DFL – Moorhead) released the following statement in response:
"While our economy remains stable, it is absolutely critical we use the surplus dollars in ways that create more economic growth and prosperity for all Minnesotans. I appreciate the Governor's comments and initiative to continue focus on early childhood funding and college affordability.
"This will be a busy, fast-paced session. It is important we work with the Governor and keep our focus on a robust capital investment bill and a tax bill that will help Minnesota's working families."
