Rep. Brian Johnson Takes Oath of Office

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Brian Johnson (R-Cambridge) was officially sworn in as a state representative on Tuesday, January 3rd in St. Paul after taking the oath of office administered by Chief Justice Lorie Gildea. This is his third term in the Minnesota House of Representatives.

“Representing the folks of Chisago and Isanti Counties at the Capitol is a great privilege, and I look forward to championing solutions and policies this session that work for the people and priorities of our community,” said Rep. Johnson. “The legislature will focus on passing balanced, fiscally responsible legislation that reins in state government spending, provides tax relief to Minnesota families and addresses our state’s health care cost crisis.”

Johnson will once again serve as vice chair of the Public Safety & Security and Policy Finance Committee, as well as serve on the Environment & Natural Resources Policy and Finance, and Health & Human Services Finance committees.
