Thanksgiving message from Rep. Jerry Hertaus

Thanksgiving wreath

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

As we enter the holiday season, I would like to extend heartfelt best wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours from the Hertaus family. It may be as important as ever to take stock in the reasons we have to be thankful this season despite the adversity and hardships many of us have faced and all else that has gone on in the world all around us this last year.

We’re all human and sometimes become consumed and overwhelmed with negativity, whether it be on social media or delivered by any given news source. Let’s do our best this holiday to reflect on the blessings we have and pray for a brighter future.

We give thanks to all our front-line workers who are going above and beyond the call of duty to protect us and keep us healthy, especially our medical personnel, law enforcement officers and members of our armed forces. We also give thanks to everyone who continues working to ensure we have food on the table and make other daily necessities available.

Most importantly, thank you for the contributions you make in your job and occupation doing your part in a complex web of an economy and free market system that has become highly integrated through specialization and has become very dependent upon each other.

Take this time with family and friends, to reflect and prioritize the things that truly matter most to you and your family.

Warmest regards for this Thanksgiving,

Rep. Jerry Hertaus
