ST. PAUL – Rep. Jerry Hertaus, R-Greenfield, performed his third oath of office in the Minnesota House of Representatives Tuesday as the 90th Legislature convened at the Capitol in St. Paul.
Hertaus was re-elected in November to represent District 33A in western Hennepin County. He serves as the vice chairman of the House Property Tax and Local Government Finance Division, in addition to positions on both Taxes and Transportation and Regional Governance Policy panels.
“The oath of office is always a humbling experience and I am grateful the citizens of District 33A have again entrusted me to serve them in the House,” Hertaus said. “The last several months have largely been spent discussing issues with the people in our district. The input I received is appreciated and will be helpful as we begin examining a vast array of proposals in the Legislature.”
Hertaus said he welcomes correspondence from citizens in District 33A throughout the session. They are encouraged to contact him by calling (651) 296-9188 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Hertaus also provides periodic email updates and citizens can sign up to receive them at his official state website: www.house.mn/33A.
