Dear neighbors,
As I mentioned in my last update, I’m hosting a forum to discuss how we can protect Minnesotans who walk and bike to school, work, and other public places. If you’d like to share your thoughts on this important issue, please join me tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. in the South Oaks Meeting Room at the Eagan Community Center (1501 Central Parkway, Eagan, MN 55121).
Safe Routes to School experts from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota and MnDOT will open the meeting with a presentation. A community discussion will follow. Senator Carlson, Representative Hornstein, and I look forward to hearing your comments on road safety in Eagan as well as any questions or feedback.
Please note that this forum has replaced the Be Heard on Cannabis town hall that was scheduled for tomorrow. That event has been moved to another community. During this difficult time, we wanted to talk about what Eagan is talking about.
