ST. PAUL – Rep. Steve Green (R-Fosston) issued the following statement in reaction to the news that MNsure’s largest commercial provider, PreferredOne, will no longer offer plans through the exchange for 2015.
“I had deep misgivings about the implementation of Obamacare in Minnesota when the issue was debated in 2013,” said Green. “Unfortunately, my concerns now have become reality. As a result of the refusal by those in charge of the legislature to fix Obamacare in Minnesota, more than 30,000 Minnesotans may now have to choose between keeping their doctor or paying more for their health insurance. Minnesotans deserve better.”
