This Wednesday, November 11th, is Veterans Day. This is a day for the American people to take time to remember and honor the commitment made by our service men and women. These men, women, and their families have made significant sacrifices to protect our freedoms and make the world a safer place. We owe a great deal of gratitude to these heroes.
Be sure to attend local Veterans Day programs to show your support and pay tribute to our brave American soldiers. Remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, those who came home, and those currently serving. Their dedication affords us the freedom and safety enjoyed by all Americans. Take time to shake their hands and say thank you for their part in making the USA the greatest country on God's earth.
Also don’t forget to visit the Department of Veterans Affairs website for more information on volunteering in your community. http://www.volunteer.va.gov/
Additionally, with deer season now underway, I hope that you will take time to partake in Minnesota’s rich hunting heritage.
