Dear neighbors,
Minnesota made history yesterday when we became the 12th state to give same-sex couples the freedom to marry.
When Governor Dayton signed the bill on the capitol steps surrounded by thousands of our fellow Minnesotans, it ushered in a new area of progress, justice, and inclusion for our state.
I proudly joined a bipartisan coalition of House lawmakers last week to vote in support of marriage equality. In case you missed my floor speech, you can click here or on the video player below to watch.
