Tony Albright Sworn-In To Fifth Term As State Representative

SAINT PAUL, MN – Representative Tony Albright, R-Prior Lake, took the oath of office to begin his fifth term Tuesday at the beginning of the 2021 legislative session. Albright will continue to represent District 55B which includes the townships of St. Lawrence, Sand Creek, Spring Lake, and Credit River, as well as Jordan, Prior Lake, and parts of Shakopee.

Earlier this year, Albright was appointed to serve as minority lead on the Human Services Finance and Policy Committee, in addition to his work on the Higher Education Finance & Policy and Ways and Means Committees this session.

“It is an honor to continue serving the communities of District 55B,” said Albright. “As the ranking Republican member on the Human Services Finance and Policy Committee, I look forward to working on some of the most critical issues facing our State, such as childcare and elder care, while fighting to keep health insurance costs low for all Minnesotans.”
