RELEASE: Representative Albright Sworn in as State Representative

ST. PAUL – State Rep. Tony Albright, R-Prior Lake, was officially sworn in for his third term as a state representative on Tuesday, January 3, after taking the oath of office administered by Chief Justice Lori Gildea. Albright, a businessman, will continue to represent House District 55B – encompassing the cities of St. Lawrence, Jordan, Sand Creek, Spring Lake, Credit River and Prior Lake, as well as parts of Shakopee – at the Capitol in St. Paul.

“I’m extremely grateful to continue my service to the people of 55B,” said Albright. “With an expanded Republican majority in the House, I look forward to finding conservative solutions to problems in our state.”

Albright was named vice-chair of the Health and Human Services Finance Committee, and will also serve on the Health and Human Services Reform, Higher Education and Career Readiness Policy and Finance, and Rules and Legislative Administration Committees, as well as the Subcommittee on Child Care Access and Affordability.
