ST. PAUL – State Rep. Chris Swedzinski, R-Ghent, announces Puris Proteins is receiving a state Job Creation Fund award of up to $1.86 million expected to help create 75 new jobs in Lac qui Parle County.
The award from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development consists of an $860,000 job-creation award and a $1 million capital investment rebate. The contract is for a seven-year term.
“Congratulations to Puris Proteins for its commitment to providing new jobs in Lac Qui Parle County and thank you to DEED for recognizing this as an endeavor worthy of support,” Swedzinski said. “It will be good to see the benefits this project will bring to our region as we continue working to strengthen our workforce and bolster the local economy.”
