STATE REPRESENTATIVE SCHOMACKER ASSIGNED TO COMMITTEES

ST. PAUL – State Representative Joe Schomacker (R-Luverne) was recently appointed to a number of new House committees recently, and says he’s eagerly anticipating getting to work. This will be Schomacker’s third term in the Minnesota House. Along with being named chairman of the Minnesota House Aging and Long Term Care Policy Committee, Schomacker will also serve on the Health and Human Services Finance, Health and Human Services Reform, and Agriculture Policy committees.

“I’m very pleased with these committee assignments,” Schomacker said. “Agriculture and rural healthcare are two of the top priorities for southwestern Minnesotans, and I look forward to making their presence felt as legislation is being crafted.”

Constituents should note that while Rep. Schomacker’s phone number and email address will remain the same, he has moved to a new office.
