STATEMENT FROM REP. DEB KIEL ON LATEST DIAL TURN
ST. PAUL — Representative Deb Kiel, R-Crookston, issued the following statement regarding the latest dial turn announcement Friday from Gov. Tim Walz, easing business restrictions in Minnesota.
"These capacity increases and other changes will help our local restaurants and other businesses immensely, and I'm glad to see the Governor is finally acknowledging the rapidly improving COVID-19 situation," said Kiel. "These changes make it clear that we are no longer in a state of emergency, and we need to end the Governor's emergency powers and return power to the Legislature as a co-equal branch of government."
