Capitol Update from Rep. Dan Kiel

Friday, January 11, 2019

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

The 2019 Legislative Session began on Tuesday. It was an honor to take the oath of office in the House Chamber with 133 other representatives. I look forward to working with these fellow legislators as we try to find solutions to the tough issues facing our community and the entire state.

Additionally, I was grateful to be joined by constituent Tom Steinbrenner at the Swearing-In Ceremony. I always enjoy having constituents at the Capitol to voice their concerns or just to see the Legislature in action. Please feel free to contact my office to schedule a visit – you are always welcome!

Legislative Committees will begin meeting next week. In addition to being the Republican Lead on the Health and Human Services Policy Committee, I have been appointed to serve on the Ethics Committee, State Government Finance Division, Long-Term Care Division, and Agriculture and Food Finance and Policy Division.

It’s an honor and privilege to work for you at the Capitol. Please don’t hesitate to contact my office at any time this session to share your thoughts, concerns or ideas. I am here to serve you!

Have a great weekend,

Deb
