Dear Neighbors,
I want to leave a note to wish you and your loved ones a very happy Independence Day.
Since the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 1776, our nation has been a shining beacon of liberty, democracy, and equality. These beliefs represent the bedrock of our nation, and foster a sense of optimism and possibility in us as Americans. May we never take these blessings for granted.
We were founded as a representative democratic republic, based on unalienable God given rights. History records that when Ben Franklin was asked what form of government he had given us, he replied, "A republic, if you can keep it". Our founding fathers created the framework for a system that has provided a stable government for over 200 years. This has allowed individuals the maximum amount of liberty and prosperity that the world has ever known.
Again, I wish you and your family a blessed and safe Independence Day.
