Dear Friends,
Today we remember our valiant warriors who gave their lives to defend our freedom. Our military and veterans truly exemplify what makes our country great. They leave their families and communities behind to stand up to America’s enemies knowing they might not return home. Their courage, bravery, and service are an inspiration for all of us.
I am praying today for all our service men and women, veterans, and their families. May they know the hope, strength, and peace of America’s prayers for them today, and every day.
Alexandria’s Memorial Day Parade will take place today from 10 – 11am. I also encourage you to attend the Memorial Day Ceremony that will take place following the Parade at Veterans Memorial Park from 11am – 12pm. You can find more information on both events here.
