Rep. Mary Franson to Serve on Committees that Fund and Reform our State’s Health and Human Services, and Monitor our Economy.
Saint Paul, MINN— On Tuesday, December 20, 2016, House Republicans unveiled committee assignments for the 2017-2018 legislative sessions. In addition to being named Chair of the Subcommittee on Child Care Access & Affordability, Representative Mary Franson will serve on Health & Human Services Reform, Health & Human Services Finance, and Commerce & Regulatory Reform committees.
“I am excited to get back to work for our community and for the state of Minnesota by continuing to be an advocate for change in our health insurance system,” said Rep. Franson. “I am truly honored to be serving in such a substantial role at the Capitol next year.”
Franson was recently elected to her fourth term in the Minnesota House of Representatives.
The legislative session is set to begin January 3, 2017.
