ST. PAUL, MN- Representative Dan Fabian (R-Roseau) issued the following statement regarding Governor Tim Walz’s decision to proceed with efforts to challenge the Enbridge Line 3 replacement pipeline. The petition for reconsideration challenges the unanimous decision by the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) to grant the certificate of need for the pipeline.
“Governor Walz is standing in the way of economic development, job creation, and environmental safety,” said Rep. Fabian. “His actions today are not in the best interests of Northwestern Minnesota and fly in the face of the ‘One Minnesota’ promises he made during his campaign.”
