ST. PAUL, MN – Housing First Minnesota has recognized House Minority Leader Kurt Daudt, R-Crown, with its 2019 Housing Leadership Award.
“We thank you for your efforts and look forward to continuing to work with you to find solutions that can positively impact Minnesotans by finding the reasonable balance of safety, resource protection, and housing affordability,” said David Siegel, Executive Director of Housing First Minnesota.
According to the organization, the award recognizes Rep. Daudt's “commitment to a vibrant housing market that ties together the communities of our great state. Additionally, it recognizes your work throughout the 2019 legislative session to promote homeownership in communities people love, at a price families can afford.”
"I am honored to win the Housing Leadership Award and will continue to work to make homeownership more affordable for families across Minnesota," said Minority Leader Daudt. "Burdensome state regulations stifled the construction of new, affordable single family homes for far too long. I will continue to fight unnecessary regulations so we can drive down the cost of homeownership for Minnesotans."
