PEGGY SCOTT SWORN IN TO FOURTH TERM AS STATE REPRESENTATIVE

ST. PAUL – State Rep. Peggy Scott (R-Andover) was officially sworn in to her fourth term as a state representative on Tuesday, January 6, after taking the oath of office administered by Chief Justice Lori Gildea. Scott will continue to represent House District 35B – encompassing the cities of Andover and parts of Ramsey and Coon Rapids – at the Capitol in St. Paul.

“I am honored to have been elected by the hardworking residents of District 35B to serve my fourth term in the legislature, and am looking forward to what we can do to represent the interests of all Minnesotans in the new Republican majority,” said Scott. “I am excited for my new leadership role as Chair of the Civil Law & Data Practices committee.”

Scott will serve on the Commerce & Regulatory Reform, Government Operations & Elections Policy, Job Growth & Energy Affordability Policy & Finance, Rules & Legislative Administration and Civil Law & Data Practices committees, where she will serve as Chair.
