Rep. Anderson takes sixth oath of office

Tuesday, January 8, 2019

ST. PAUL – State Rep. Paul Anderson, R-Starbuck, performed his sixth oath of office in the Minnesota House of Representatives Tuesday as the 91st Legislature was sworn in at the Capitol.

Anderson was re-elected to the House in November and represents District 12B, which covers portions of Stearns, Douglas and Pope counties. He was selected as the lead Republican on the House’s Greater Minnesota Jobs and Economic Development and Finance Division. He also is serving the Agriculture and Food Finance and Policy, and Environment and Natural Resources Policy committees.

“It’s good to be back in St. Paul working on the issues and serving on behalf of the people in District 12B,” Anderson said. “Swearing-in day always is a humbling experience and I once again felt a deep sense of gratitude as I participated in the ceremony. I am happy to be back at the Capitol so we can get down to business and address the challenges we face this session.”

Anderson said he welcomes input from local citizens throughout the year, particularly during the legislative session. He can be reached by emailing rep.paul.anderson@house.mn or by calling (651) 296-4317. Anderson also provides periodic email updates and citizens can sign up to receive them at his official state website: www.house.mn/12B.
