STATEMENT: Rep. Erin Murphy introduces Protect Access to Contraception (PAC) Act
SAINT PAUL, MN — Today, Rep. Erin Murphy (DFL-Saint Paul) introduced the Protect Access to Contraception (PAC) Act to further protect Minnesotans’ access to basic health care.
Rep. Murphy released the following statement:
“Access to contraception is absolutely critical for the health and economic security of women in our state and in our country. This bill protects the access to basic health care that is fundamental to the rights of all Minnesotans to control their own bodies and plan their own families.
“As the Trump administration attempts to allow employers to insert their religious beliefs into their employees’ lives, Minnesotans deserve protection from any erosion of their right to make health care decisions based on what is best for them.”
